  • WAVE | Ocean Regeneration

    Ousia, led by its founder Rym Baouendi, was appointed by HRH Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud to build WAVE from the groundup as a collective action platform. WAVE aims to accelerate regenerative ocean action by sparking broad engagement, activating sectors and industries and harnessing the full potential of data insights and innovation.


  • SOLE | Sustainable Festival and Media

    Sole DXB is an independent community-driven platform that is the leading voice for youth and contemporary culture across the Middle East and North Africa.

Sole DXB appointed Ousia (formerly Medina Works) to help articulate a compelling vision and develop an actionable sustainability roadmap for their annual cultural festival in Dubai, UAE and global magazine.

  • Fondation BIAT | Entrepreneurship

    Ousia (formerly Medina Works), led by its founder and principal advisor Rym Baouendi, was appointed by BIAT Foundation to build its entrepreneurship department and design and eliver its flagship programs: Bloommasters start-up competition in collaboration with the MIT Enterprise Forum), SPARK youth entrepreneurship program and Tunisia’s entrepreneurship insights portal, Entrepreneurs of Tunisia.

  • Estidama PRS | Sustainable Cities

    Ousia (formerly Medina Works) partnered with Buro Happold to lead the development and implementation of the Estidama Pearl Rating System (PRS), a green building certification program and policy mandate for the Abu Dhabi Emirate. By 2020, 35.3 million square meters of built-up area were certified, and 2253 professionals were accredited under Estidama PRS.
